WATCHING GUIDE
New to Anime? Start Here on AniLove India
If you have never watched anime, these are the safest first picks on AniLove India: famous stories, Hindi audio or English subtitles, and no homework required before episode one.
Start with a finished story, not a homework list
The biggest mistake new anime viewers make is starting with a series that has hundreds of episodes and a decade of lore. You do not need that. Start with a famous story that explains itself in episode one, has a clear ending in sight, and is available in a language you enjoy. Everything below is on AniLove India as a checked official YouTube upload, free with no account, so you can test one episode and walk away if it is not for you.
If you want Hindi audio
Hindi audio removes the reading barrier entirely. Jujutsu Kaisen lists Hindi Seasons 1 and 2, following Yuji and the sorcerers through curses, school life and large battles. My Hero Academia Season 1 is listed complete in Hindi with 13 episodes, a clean superhero origin story. Blue Lock lists Hindi seasons about three hundred strikers competing to become one egoist ace. Assassination Classroom Season 1 is complete in Hindi with 22 episodes, funny and surprisingly moving. Any of these four is a safe first anime in Hindi.
If you do not mind subtitles
Some of the best anime on the site has no Hindi dub, and subtitles are worth trying. Death Note lists all 37 episodes with English subtitles: Light finds a notebook that kills anyone whose name is written in it, and the battle of wits with L that follows is one of the most gripping stories in anime. It needs no prior anime knowledge at all. Attack on Titan lists Hindi episodes for viewers who want dubbing, and Overlord lists four Hindi seasons for viewers who enjoy a dark fantasy about a player trapped as an undead king.
One movie first?
If a whole series feels like a commitment, start with a single film. SPY × FAMILY CODE: White is listed as a full Hindi movie: a family trip becomes a mission, with comedy and action that work without knowing the series. One sitting tells you whether anime films suit your taste. If you enjoy it, the SPY × FAMILY series seasons are listed next to it, and the same characters continue there in longer form.
What not to start with
Avoid starting with a very long partial season if you dislike waiting. Hunter × Hunter lists 139 Hindi episodes, which is many hours of viewing, but its listing is a long available run rather than a finished box set, so check the title page count first. The same applies to any famous title with a small listed count: a short listing means only those episodes are checked and available, not that the series is short. Read the season tab, read the count, then press Play.
